Modus Marketing Group Helps ILCA Institute Launch Their 2006 Course Offerings

August 23, 2005–Warrenville, IL- The ILCA Institute is the educational arm of the Illinois Landscape Contractors Association. Each year they offer a wide range of courses to help landscape professionals continue to grow their career or business. The Institute offers classes for both field works and business executives. Modus Marketing Group was asked to help them fill the seats.

The first step was to create a new brand identity for the Institute that repositioned it as being the premier, state-of-the-art education program. This was accomplished with a new logo specifically for the Institute and a new graphic theme. The graphics created a progressive new look and were integrated over all marketing materials.

Once the strategic planning phase of the project was complete, it was time to start rolling out a new campaign. The first item was a new website. The site presented over 100 detailed pages with complete course information and registration forms. In order to support the Institute’s position as the premier educational program, we developed a special section that provided background information on all of the instructors. We also filmed interviews with past attendees, creating a video testimonials page.   

Once the site was complete, Modus Marketing Group developed a postcard announcing the 2006 course offering and driving people to the website to register. A broadcast fax was also sent to members. Two different ads were also created for the ILCA’s own trade publication.
